Information on Summer Holiday Dates Wilderness Explorers



  • Meet 10 minutes before the start of the sessions outside the Visitors Centre

  • Younger or older siblings are welcome, but please ensure that they have a ticket

  • All children to be accompanied by a responsible adult

  • You may get muddy and wet

  • Activity clothes and sturdy shoes are a must for all

  • Bring waterproofs, wellies, suntan cream and a sun hat (a change of clothes for the journey home).

  • Long sleeves and trousers recommended

  • Please note that you do not need to pay entrance to the Arboretum to attend session run by the World Outside, but attendance to activities run by the World Outside does not allow access to the arboretum

  • No skirts, open toes shoes/sandals, flip flops or crocs or flammable clothing. Anyone with unsuitable clothing or foot wear or clothing may be excluded from taking part and recieved

  • The resonsible adult is responsible for the actions and involvement of child they are accompanying

  • We meet in front of the Visitors Centre. (Post code DY11 5TB) Please ensure that you arrive 10 minutes before start of the session as we will be heading to the forest school area promptly to ensure that the we have adequate time to enjoy the activities planned.

  • PHOTOGRAPHS WILL BE TAKEN DURING THIS SESSION - If you do not wish photographs of your child to be used for publicity purposes (names are never published) please inform the forest school leader at the start of the session as this is no problem.
