Activities may include stream damming, den building, pond dipping, bushcraft skills, fire lighting,

cooking on fire, tool use, natural crafts, mini beast hunting plus much, much more!

Bring activity clothes, (long sleeves and trousers recommended) waterproofs, wellies, suntan cream and a sun hat. We also recommend a towel and a change of clothes for the way home...we intend to get messy!

COVID 19 Procedures

If any of the participants are feeling unwell, they will not be able to attend.

These sessions may be cancelled at short notice if the Lockdown regulations are tightened or the leader is affected by Track and Trace or the leader feels unwell

Hand washing will be available on the forest school site in the form of a Tippy Tap

The current social distancing recommendations are no less than 1 metre, preferably 2 meters where possible, however due to the nature of children, it is accepted that they will struggle to  social distance at all times.  The particpants will be encouraged to keep at least 1 metre apart, but there will be situations when during the course of playing this 1 metre distance  will be breached.  In these situations the risk is perceived to be low, as the breach will only be for short period of time due to the nature of children's play and the air currents that occur in an outdoor situation.

For this reason please do not send your child if they live with anyone who is shielding or in the vulnerable category within their family bubble, as it is recommended that they do not attend

Do not attend if anyone in your family bubble is self isolating due to Track and Trace

The World Outside Covid 19 risk assessment is constantly being reviewed and these conditions may change or be altered as situations arise or come to light
