Woodland Explorers

A Drop-off Session for Home-Educated Children

Join us for an exciting adventure in the heart of nature with our Forest Explorers Drop-off Session tailored specifically for home-educated children! This two-hour immersive experience offers a unique opportunity for kids to connect with the great outdoors, learn valuable bushcraft skills, and ignite their creativity in a safe and supportive environment.

The session is going to be held on the site of the World Outside Kindergarten which is accessed of St Johns Avenue, Kidderminster DY11 6AX


During this enriching session, children will have the chance to:

Engage in Bushcraft Skills:

From building shelters to tying knots, our experienced instructors will guide children through hands-on activities that promote problem-solving, teamwork, and self-reliance. children will learn essential survival techniques that foster confidence and resilience.

Cooking Adventure Over an Open Fire:

There's something magical about cooking in the wilderness! Children will learn how to safely prepare and cook delicious snacks over an open fire, developing their culinary skills while gaining an appreciation for natural ingredients and outdoor cooking methods.

Nature Exploration and Discovery:

Encouraging curiosity and a sense of wonder, our forest explorers will embark on a journey to uncover the hidden treasures of the woodland. From identifying flora and fauna to discovering animal tracks, children will learn about the interconnectedness of all living things and the importance of preserving our natural environment.

Creative Expression: Nature provides endless inspiration! Children will have the opportunity to express themselves through nature-based art and craft activities, using materials found in the forest to create beautiful masterpieces that reflect their individuality and imagination.

Safe and Supervised Environment: Our priority is the safety and well-being of every child. Rest assured, our sessions are led by qualified instructors who are trained in first aid and outdoor education. We maintain a low instructor-to-child ratio to ensure that each child receives personalized attention and support throughout the experience.
