Since 20th of July 2011, we've welcomed thousands of children and adults outdoors to learn, explore,
build confidence and discover a lifelong love of nature.

The World Outside is a Forest School Association Recognised Forest School Provider, one of only two in Worcestershire and three across the West Midlands.
Our Director, Sandra Hill, is also a Professional of Outdoor Learning (POL) with the Institute for Outdoor Learning and a qualified Forest School Leader.

Designed for nurseries, primary and secondary schools, our hands-on outdoor sessions use the woodland, wildlife and natural environment to create memorable learning experiences that support your curriculum while giving children the chance to explore, discover and learn beyond the classroom.

As a Forest School Association Recognised Forest School Provider, we can provide experienced practitioners to deliver carefully planned half-day or full-day programmes on your own school site.

ALTERNATIVE PROVISION THAT BUILDS CONFINCE CONNECTION AND ENGAGMENT
Our Alternative Provision programmes bring purposeful outdoor learning directly to your school. Delivered as a half-day or full-day programme within your own grounds, woodland or Forest School area, sessions are designed for small groups of pupils who may benefit from a different approach to learning. Through practical activities, nature connection, teamwork, tools and achievable challenges, we help pupils build confidence, relationships, resilience and engagement in a calm, supportive outdoor environment.

The World Outside helps people reconnect with nature through outdoor activity, bushcraft and forest school. Based in Kidderminster, we run sessions for families and individuals, curriculum-linked programs for schools, and tailored experiences for corporate teams. Our learner-led approach builds confidence, resilience and a joyful relationship with the natural world.
